Once again, we present our devilishly good Coinnich II (pronounced koi-neesh; meaning ‘assembly’ or ‘a coming together’). This is a blend of eight single malts and one single grain whisky, with a rare malt balance of 40%. Brought together in their youth, Speyside malts have been introduced to malts distilled at Laphroaig and Highland Park, which we have blended with grain whisky from Loch Lomond. Resting in American oak, the whiskies in this excellent blend have been developing style and character for over two decades. A great example of how time and oak, and the art of blending can craft an inspired Scotch whisky.
