Once serviced by the Strathspey Railway, this single malt distillery was the first to proudly wear a ‘pagoda’ designed by Charles Doig. Today, most of the distillery’s spirit is blended into Diageo whiskies. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy such a special example of this fine Speyside single malt.
Pronounced yorna-loin, this single malt has been matured solely in Quercus Alba – American white oak. For most of its life, this whisky has rested in refill bourbon casks before being filled into two fresh Koval bourbon casks from the famed Chicago distillery. Three years in these casks have given extra levels of flavour and aromatics.
