Followers of this famous Islay malt whisky appreciate its robust, complex flavours. Our use of a first fill bourbon cask in the maturation process has further emphasised the inherent qualities of this fine spirit, distilled on the south shore of the Isle of Islay. On the nose there is the traditional Islay peat that gives way to an abundant citrus, vegetal sweetness. In the mouth, its classic characteristics continue with strong malt, peat, smoke, charcoal and ground coffee flavours, accompanied by a pleasant honey vanilla fusion in the finish – tradition and the art of maturation in perfect harmony.
