Select Grain Summer 2018

Up until its closure in 2009, the Port Dundas Distillery was a powerhouse of whisky production in the north of Glasgow, once boasting the tallest chimney in the world, standing at 454ft. Distilled in 1971, this spirit was filled into a bourbon cask, where it developed a wealth of character and maturity over nearly half a century.

This is a truly unique whisky, a piece of history. Bottled at a natural cask strength, the result is exceptional – an outstanding example emphasising the importance of time in the maturation of Scotch whisky.

Nose: buttery toffee, fruit and nut, floral
Palate: fruit crumble, oak spice
Finish: long, satisfying sweet warmth
